We back ALL new installations with a 1 year labor warranty. We carry a variety of additional features in stock such as folding hinged rails, powered swivel seats, and color options for the upholstery. • All of our stairlifts are Rack & Pinion Drive Systems made with solid steel components.
• We do not carry or recommend cable driven systems as they require routine maintenance that can be quite difficult for the homeowner to perform. The cable requires tightening periodically and the wheel channels require removing and replacing the grease inside the channels.
• We do not carry or recommend worm gear or friction drive systems. The drive system on both types of stairlifts is made from plastic and use compression screws and springs to hold the units and gear racks in place. Also, both types of units tend to lean under any weight.
